If you would like to set up a table, please refer to the following steps and modify on iPad App :
Table Setup
1. Press Settings > Tables
2. Select a table section > Add Table
3. Key in Table No／Table Name (Visible to the merchant internally only)
4. Enter the Number of Seats and Minimum Party Size to set the number of customers the table can accommodate
5. If the table is mergeable, turn on Mergeable
6. Click Done to save
After adding a new table, please remember to manually add it to the Floor Plan so it will display correctly. Please refer to the following guide: 👉 How to Set Up a Floor Plan?
Table Setup Feature Details
Number of Seats refers to the maximum number of customers the table can accommodate, while Minimum Party Size sets the lowest number of customers required for the system to assign this table. For example:
- If a table is set as 1 - 2 guests, booking for 3 or more guests will not be assigned to this table.
- If a table is set as 3 - 5 guests, booking for 2 guests will not be assigned to this table.
Mergeable feature only applies to tables within the same table section.
- When multiple tables in the same section are marked as Mergeable, the system can automatically combine them to accommodate larger parties. For example:
- If two 4-seat tables in the same section are marked as Mergeable, the system can combine them to accommodate a 7-person booking.
- Tables in different table sections cannot be merged, even if the Mergeable option is enabled. The system will not combine tables across different sections.
