If the restaurant needs to add additional information or note in a reservation to remind staff, such as seating request, allergies, or special occasions like birthdays, the system offers two features: Reservation Notes and Reservation Tags. These tools allow you to flexibly record and manage such details. Both the notes and tags are for internal use only and will not be visible to customers. Note information will appear in the reservation details within the app and will also be reflected in the daily report, making it easier to manage and follow up. Please refer to the following steps and modify on iPad App:
Steps to Add Reservation Notes / Tags
1. Press Book > List in the top right corner
2. Find the reservation you want to add a note to, then tap on it and select Edit in the bottom left corner.
3. Scroll down to the Note field and enter the information you want to add, then click Done in the top right corner.

Final Display
The "Reservation Notes" field is usually use for entering more complete and detailed text descriptions, allowing internal staff to fully understand the background and specifics of a reservation. The note content is usually a paragraph of text that can include a wide variety of information. In contrast, "Reservation Tags" appear as short, representative keywords such as “VIP”, “Birthday”, or “Non-Smoking Area”. Tags enable quick identification and categorization of reservations. They help enhance efficiency and support rapid filtering and batch operations.
