You can use the Book > Floor Plan feature in the inline App on your iPad to quickly view table occupancy for different time periods. This helps you keep track of current and upcoming seating arrangements. Please refer to the steps and interface descriptions below:
Switching between different time periods
At the top of the screen, you can switch between different time slots.
- When switching to a past time, the view will display the actual seating status at that time.
- When switching to a future time, it will simulate the booking arrangements and expected seating for that period.
You can tap ← Now at the bottom right corner at any time to return to the current period.
If multiple floor plans are set up, you can also switch between them using the menu located below the timeline.
View different table layout modes
At the bottom right corner of the screen, you can zoom the table layout in or out (up to 2×), and switch between two different layout states.
Current Turn:
This view shows the current seating status. Each table displays the seated booking (name, party size, time), with the next upcoming booking shown below. The number in the bottom-right corner indicates the table’s turn count for the day.
You can switch the time display between Seating Time and Estimated End Time, and tap the clock icon to toggle between Time Seated and Expected Clear Time, making it easier to track dining progress.
All Turns:
This view shows all bookings assigned to the same table throughout the day, displaying only the booking time and party size. It helps you quickly review the table’s full-day schedule and usage.
Table Colors and Status:
- Table Background Color:
- Green — currently seated
- Blue — in bussing
- Progress Bar Color:
- Green — currently seated
- Blue — in bussing
- Orange — nearing bussing time
- Table Border:
If a table type label is set, the border will display the corresponding label color for easy identification of table categories.
Booking Details and Today’s List
When you tap a specific booking on the table layout, you can quickly add a new booking or walk-in at the top. The lower section shows all bookings and waitlist entries assigned to that table for the day, giving you a clear view of its overall usage.
If you tap a blank area on the table layout, a Today’s List button will appear in the lower-left corner. Tapping it will open the full list, where you can:
- Search for bookings
- Switch dining periods and seating statuses
- View total guests and parties for each segment
- Check detailed booking information
- Add a new waitlist entry at the bottom
